Avatar: The Last Airbender is still the best animated series I've ever seen. But given that Korra wasn't as good, Dragon Prince really wasn't as good, and the modern-day's exceptional tendency to wallow in the past and to butcher our favourites with unnecessary sequels or reboots or remakes… I can't say my hopes are too high.

They lost me when they made homophobia the "worst" thing Sozin did. And not, y'know genocide, leaving his friend to die on an erupting volcano and hunting species sacred to his culture to near extinction.
