I have a friend who's obese a X reddit + 367 I have a friend who's obese and I'm ready to cut her out of my life This has been bothering me for a few weeks now, but I have a friend, she's 22 years old and 375lbs. She has a longtime boyfriend (who was 125lbs when I met him, he's now 300+) and they keep trying to get pregnant together. She has been trying for about a year now to get pregnant, and actually got pregnant twice. Twice, in a year. 2 miscarriages. It bothers me that she can't look at the bigger picture and see that no 22 year old should be having miscarriages this early in their lives and especially not 3 or 4 weeks into the pregnancy. How do I tell her she's f------ irresponsible with this fragile thing we call life? Why can't she recognize that her weight is directly related to the miscarriages? I'm at the point of cutting them out of my life to stop hearing about it because I know that if I say something, everyone will be all up in arms. ITS NOT NORMAL TO BE 300+ LBS. ITS NOT NORMAL TO HAVE 2 MISCARRIAGES AT 22 YEARS OLD. Search Re I don't know what to do at this point, any help would be appreciated. She is now testing positive for another pregnancy, her third one. She has to confirm it this week but I simply don't have the brain capacity to hear "boo hoo I lost another baby" when it's very very very obvious why she is not carrying to term. This is so incredibly frustrating to me EDIT: I understand everyone telling me to mind my own business, I really really do. I also know women that had babies when they are overweight. Maybe my original post didn't illustrate this clearly enough, but I'm not angry about her being overweight, I'm not even that angry about the whole baby thing. When did it become acceptable to not make sure your children ate lunch at school? I don't understand this, everyone's excited to be on the government dole, that's all this is. Pathetic. 20h ! Warning to other parents out there... Jurassic Park went woke and is encouraging sin. This one really made me mad because my 5 year old loves dinosaurs and loved this show because it was about dinosaurs! For 4 seasons, it was all about these kids trying to escape Jurassic Park and get home to their families. Then they had to go and do this... Luckily, I was watching this with her and shut it off before she ever seen this part! I heard one of the girls say she "wanted to be more than friends" with another female character in the show and immediately shut it off and explained that we would never be watching this show again. My daughter was super sad about it at 1st but luckily I have already had a lot of talks with her about how the devil tries to deceive us through things we see on TV and through music and so she knows when something promotes sin, we no longer watch or listen to it. This woman drove past our rental home, saw my boyfriend (who happens to be the only black man on the block) walk inside our house, and turned around to demand that he proved he lived here. Then she called the cops. Welcome to Seattle - this didnt happen when we moved into our low cost apartment downtown, or when we rented a home in South Seattle - but within a month of being in a decent neighborhood (we've been working hard) - this is the greeting we get. We moved here from Texas with the belief Seattle would be much better about this.
