Downpatrick, and Krystof Rafal Wysoki (34), also of Irish Street, will be sentenced to day for cultivating cannabis at two addresses in the town Downpatrick Crown Court heard on Thursday that a substantial quan tity of cannabis plants, valued at over £90.000, were uncovered during raids of the properties at Circular Road and Corry Wood Park on No- vember 18, 2014 At their pre-sentence hearing, Wysoki was described as having greater responsibility for the "com mercial drug operation and ar ranged for the importation of the plants Describing the case as "unusual" considering Wysoki's lack of a rel evant record. Mr Grant said it sp peared to have been a "private ven ture which be financed because of his own cannabis use Despite Wysoki having a greater role, however, a prosecution law- This appears to have been oppor tunistic with a financial motive but i arising originally from a cannabis habit, he said.
