This happens you got a team congregating on a piece of large gold and when you scan it with a tool, your character says: "we're rich!" I feel like it's an ironic kind of humor because there's so much gold to be mined in the asteroid/planet that gold is essentially a common sight. The large nugget makes it funny because it's kind of like finding an massive egg that a hen laid out of the batch.
