The girl, Colette, has been on a pilgrimage and visiting holy sites. Each one she visits turns her a little more into an angel, but she loses the little things that make her human, like needing to eat and sleep. She hides this from the party to keep them from worrying.

At this point, Lloyd has noticed something's up when she didn't react to an injury. This bizarre scene then plays where he makes her coffee, then he starts lying to her about whether it's hot or iced as a reveal that she no longer has a sense of touch.
