Reminds me of a character from this universe (not Pivot):

From what I get, robots and AI in general when they get sentient got rights, presumably getting somewhere close to Megaman ZX levels, and with these come rules with what you can't do when attempting to build a robot or, even worse, AI.

This guy makes the perfect waifu with the softest airbags and the tightest, most airtight HID input port and presumably as much as he could do to make the AI lean towards being lovable and caring. Since getting an AI-curated submissive fuckbot is trivial in this setting, he wants true love, so he wants her sentient. Now THAT is highly illegal, trying to create true AI for the sole specific purpose of sucking your dick.

She is turned on and achieves sentience.
