You know, after actually going to a boneologist, I feel like all those bad posture memes) are based on BOTH sides not knowing what good posture is.
He started prodding at my back telling me how to stand up proper so he could measure my True Height.
Let's just say you feel something different when you're in actual proper posture, like you realizing how to make your everything fall in place and exactly how and how much you flex your muscles to maintain that (fortunately, not much. Unfortunately, it's a "you're breathing manually" level of effort)
The only universal guidance I can offer is: Your back muscles. Develop them. Swimming was the prescribed treatment. Develop torso muscles while easing the pressure on your bones. Being shown my posture quickly showed me how little back muscle I had to maintain it day long.
