After several tries. I've managed to come close to the leader with a Druid escorted group of Avengers and an Arch Mage. But meanwhile, further trolls move fast into the back of my remaining units. Daniel I think you want to try the Dwarf Horde approach -- cheap, disposable, and they don't suck in caves! (unlike Paladins and Avengers) Of course, Shydes and mages for backup are useful. I finished this level by recruiting tons of dwarves (and recalling a few magic-users) and pushing the trolls back into the bottlenecks with them. Also by, um, lots of save-scumming. (but I think that I wouldn't need so much if I played it again, I'm starting to get the hang of thinking ahead to keep units alive) The toughest part was the battle in the starting area, where I had to use lots of magic-users and heros to kill all the level-3 trolls that jump on you immediately.
