Would not recommend, it is simply a poor attempt at capitalizing on people's nostalgia for JRPG classics in the vein of Dragon Age. The story of "Chrono Trigger" is clearly a rip off of Chrono Cross, time travel and everything, and the soundtrack is very obviously some fanboy's attempt at a Final Fantasy OST, which fails to achieve the musiscal perfection that THE Nobuo Uematsu created for the FF series. The artists even ripped off the DBZ style of Akira Toriyama! Not one original concept was executed in this game. Might be a worthwhile download if the cost reflected this game's actual value, I would recommend playing JRPGs from the golden era of JRPG gaming itself (2009) and not these modern day throwbacks. Not just of their skin, but anything ranging from the cars they drive to the buildings they frequent. Despite all the color, it's a sad careless world where the only concern is to get to your destination as fast as possible, crossing rivers and mountains never once stopping to smell the fresh air. My guess is Jeff Bezos must be in charge of this society, and that's the reason why failing to deliver packages on time from the amazon depots results in a timer, once it reaches zero you die. What is everyone ordering every second of every day of the week? I have no idea but it must be as addicting as this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game which kept me awake for several days now.
