About

He Said He Loves Diddy refers to a viral video from TikTok of three Black teenagers in a high school gym talking about being in the bathroom with "a bunch of guys" and joking about loving Diddy. The cameraman, TikToker @tvotj, asks, "He said he likes what?" and the first kid responds, "He said he loves Diddy. He said he loves him so much." The original video was shared in December 2024. After going viral, people made memes with the boys, mocking their cadence and nerdy personalities displayed in their conversation, akin to cringe. However, simultaneously, many found their friendship heartwarming and wholesome. Many compared them to the kids in the Adrian, Explain Our Friend Group video — a similar nerdy group of teens.

He said he like what?
He said he loves Diddy. He said he loves him so much.
Wow, it was a joke, okay? A bunch of guys in the bathroom- Okay, it's gonna sound worse if I just cut off there. But me and Zach were drinking water, and Zach pushed my head down into the fountain, and a bunch of guys said something about Diddy, and then I yelled, "I love Diddy!" It was a joke, okay? It was a joke-
Wait, wait, you say he smacked who butt?
He smacked his!
He smacked your butt, bro?
Yes.
You do it back and forth, as a joke.
Wait, y'all smack each other butt…
No.
Yeah.
He started all that.
Wait, he started?
He started kicking my ass and then I had to do it back to him.
It started in 9th grade, okay? It's not something new.
He's not a guy you want to be around.
So, basically, basically, what y'all said is y'all touch each other's butts.
No, it's him! It's him! It's him!
No-
He started it.
We like to kick each other's butts.
Okay, okay.
