DENT Supper Mario Broth @MarioBrothBlog Paper Mario contains unused graphics and description for an item called the Transformation Cane, which would have let Mario transform into a partner. This would have allowed for a partner-only battle in the Crystal Palace, like the 2-vs-4 Goombario scenario depicted below. Transformation Cane Lets you transform into a party member and use their commands. After 3 turns, Mario returns to normal.
