The amount of women that get offended by this like "just a decent woman, motherly vibes" is an attack on THEM PERSONALLY really mystifies me. They also take it literally as men wanting a mommy rather than just finding soft, nuturing women attractive.

In the same vein there's always assholes, men AND women (believe me or not), that think showing feelings and getting emotionally hurt turns men into little bitches and think they all should be emotionless Terminators and suck it up.

The "men don't cry" thing is toxic as all hell and it always pisses me off when I see it romanticized in any media.
