The puppet's wooden teeth chattered as he loomed over the frightened porcelain jester. His stuffing was strewn about amongst the discarded pieces of several other toys. The jester squinted. Though the clown lay motionless for a moment, the cotton stuffing appeared to be... writhing? A trick of the light, surely. How could she trust her eyes in such a strange place?
