People liked OR/AS, they squinted heavily at LGE/LGP but excused it as: "It's just a side game to intrude kids to the franchise, don't worry the next remake will be normal." and then they lost all hope at BD/SP especially after hackers cracked into the files and showed everybody just how lazy that games conception was.
BD/SP is especially sad cause out of all the games the Sinoh ones really needed an update like OR/AS that actually changed things for the better, but now they never will.
