"For context, a “diversity consultant company” was found to have worked in many of the most recent egregious cases of bad writing in Western video games, and the workers of it have tweets of the most pure vile anti-white racism. A Brazillian dude made a Steam curator list to list all the games they’ve worked on, and the response of the company was to initiate a harassment campaign trying to get the user banned and the list taken down. Streisand effect kicks in and the list gets more than 200,000 subscribers. In response, the gaming media formed an obviously coordinated wave of articles lying about the issue and calling gamers bigots, in what’s a recreation of what happened 10 years ago during Gamergate, kicking the movement alive again."
