Unless Nolan sends him for extensive acting lessons, this version of the Joker will be stiff as a board and lack any homicidal tendencies! I'll watch Batman & Robin 10 times to any Ledger movie anyday! Hey here's an idea, lets get a NEW villain in there. I mean really come on, we've already see Joker. Why not Black Mask, Ventriloquist, or even Bane (a real version, not Ivy's lackey).
