Now don’t get me wrong, I liked the season 2 finale, but I have a couple grievances I’d like to air.
 
 
The gala was actually mentioned before in the show and had some setup with the tickets and the dresses, whereas the wedding sort of came out of nowhere and introduced characters that we’ve never heard of before that were supposedly really close to Twilight and important figures in Canterlot. Also, the climax seemed a little rushed.
 
That said, I think I still liked the season two finale better than season one’s, but I just had to get that out.
