The "Types of Autistic Person you see online" Starter Pack: THE NORMIE -The most common type of Autistic person. -Looks almost completely normal, you would have either not known or simply thought them eccentric if they didn't tell you. -Mainly concerned with living their life and minding their own business. THE LOLCOW -Embody most, if not all, negative stereotypes about Autistic people, and are also frequently Internet-famous due to their bad behavior. -Their very existence is used as a justification for systemic Ableism against Neurodivergents. -Their reputation is so bad that other Autistic people feel the need to disavow Lolcows in order to run Damage Control for Autism's reputation. THE IDEOLOGICAL GURU -Taught themselves history and philosophy at a young age. -Little or no respect for current academia; either reads only books from before 1960, or the works of dissident scholars. -Politically right-of-center, either a devout Christian and/or does esoteric spirituality. -If they publicly acknowledge they're Autistic, it's because they believe their Autism gives them an objective view of current society and it's problems (due in no small part to being socially isolated).
