We got Max from a dog breeder when I was a freshman in High School. My family had decided to get a dog, so we took a family trip down to the breeders house on weekend. When we got there, all the dogs acted the same..wild barking like mad, except one. This dog stood apart from all the others. He just sat there, cool and collective, staring at us. We decided after meeting him that we wanted to keep him. We took him home and we were truly in awe at how calm he was. He seemed like he was right at home the whole time Time passed on, Max grew out of puppyhood and became a dog. He loved to go for walks and lit up at the word "ball". I remember the heartaches of dating, Max would always know what was up and came to the rescue, curling up in your lap when you needed him the most. Max would hop around sleeping in everyones rooms. Some nights he would stay in my room, some nights he would stay in my parents rooms, some nights he would stay in my other brothers room or my sisters room Time grew on though, and we slowly started leaving the house. My brother and sister went to college, I joined the military. Soon we were all far away from home, with Max staying home with my parents. He was so excited when any of us came home, and you could see the disappointment when we told Max we had to go away again Three days ago, I got a phone call from my mom. Max was on his last leg. He starting having problems with his digestive system for the past year or so, but my parents has decided to make the call. Max was suffering way too much and they couldn't stand to watch it anymore (he was always throwing up, couldn't keep anything down, could barely get up in the morning Anonymous 04/23/11 (Sat)04:01:00 No.324470149 32447 My brother had driven up from college. My sister had flown from her new job in California. I took a little longer to get home because I was overseas I had arrived at home to meet my mom. She had stayed home and waited behind for me. My father, brother and sister were all at the vets with Max. By the time we arrived, everyone was surrounding Max with the vet lady there in the room. We were all given our change to say goodbye to Max, and then he was administered his shot Max died in all of our arms, tails wagging, calm and collective just like the night we got him. I have never seem my family like that, tears streaming down everyones face. We had lost a brother that night However, I am posting this for a reason. Max and I used to post on /b/ together. He would sit in my lap and we would lurk the internet together, when he was with me and I got dubs, I would tell him "Max, DUBS GET" and he would bark. What I am asking for is someone to get doubles for Max in this thread.
