File: 1345993814522.jpg-(149 KB, 900x627, rainbow dash & flutter shy.ipg) □ Anonymous 08/26/12(Sun)11:10 No.4147324 this is a story Ive always loved and liked action movies about war, fights, deaths and killings Ive always been more into thrill-side-action way of life, and never thought a show such as MLP could move my stone-solid heart but there was one morning when I woke up and the world and my life has turned around me. 6 months ago my last-known relative died he was my brother and we lived together since he was old enough and got a job, and got us both out of the orphanage. two policemen came knocking on my door, bringing me the news about my brother getting stabbed 4 times in the chest when he was dragged into a bar fight because of his hot-headed friend I took a month off-duty and stayed home. I'm a casual 4chan oldhag so frequenting boards was an every-day thing and there l was siting looking at pony thread on /b/. warm-color ponies representing qualities of moral life they made me feel better. somehow. never thought something like that would really emotionally move me I sometimes used them as reaction images of boards, but always got called a f----- for doing so and that's basically why I never came to admitting myself as pony-f--/lover/etc I did some research on my favorite ponies and found out that Rainbow Dash resembles me quite well. lot of same values and qualities I saw in RD that people see in me. especially the Loyalty Anonymous 08/26/12(Sun)11:10 No.4147332 Around a month ago I decided to watch MLP:FIM, and covering few by few episodes daily, re-watching them twice or thrice, I came to really like the show. more than any action movie ever even thou Rainbow Dash is character most close to me, I realized that I would actually want to have the qualities of Fluttershy much rather the Kindness and Warm-heartedness that she opens up and shows to everyone. the love for animals and her friends and foes too. I would really love to have those but I am a really weird person, as people who know me say. I have a RD cutie mark badge on my backpack which I carry with myself everyday to work. I am a military intelligence operator. I've been on this road for most part of my conscious life. I've been sure to take it and been preparing since I was a little child to get to the point where I am now, I've done many nasty, morally wrong and unacceptable things. and many more such things I have witnessed. but I can not leave. I chose this way to make a difference and try to make the world safer and better here I sit by myself after finishing another ep, and think how much different could be the world if people would have more compassion I go for a cup of water and recall the things I've seen, and compare them to lessons taught in MLP. I stand in the hallway of my apartment staring at myself in the mirror and it makes me want to cry. and sometimes I do I do because I do really want to make a change. I want to see people smile and I want to see everyone happy I don't want to see people hating. I dont want to see people dieing, fighting and getting mad at each other. and I go to sleep hoping that something would change tomorrow... and I wake up in the morning, go through same mundane chores of every morning, I come to work and get handed in a file with prep objectives for another deployment I want to be a better person I guess I am tired
