Warning Spoilers Get ready for Crazy Theory Time Season 3 Trixie So far we gotten three possible Trixie images for season three of Trixie sporting some swag (I liked her cap and hat better) One new And two shots of a Trixified Pongville (or a screenshot of her save from the Gameloft MLP game) We have also gotten the official synopsis for episode 4 Magic Dual which states: "When Trixie returns to Ponyville, she defeat Twilight and banishes her from town Well that seems pretty straightforward. Trixie comes back uses some magical cheat codes to overpowers Twilight (it seems very unlikely she could do it with her own magic alone) kicks Twilight out of town and then takes over Ponyville. Thus she is now an evil villain undeserving of our love (you know, because we hate all the other villains so much). Or maybe not. Let's take a closer look at that new necklace of hers. Notice anything familiar about it? That's my necklace er... I mean, crystals. That's right Trixie's new necklaces has an identical color scheme and very similar design to Lord Donut Steel of the Sombrero Republic (AKA King Sombra) Now during the secona episode we see Sombra can control a piece of his horn when separated from him hub And his whole horn was seen thrown out if the Crystal Empire when he was defeated So what does this all mean? 1. I've spent way too much time overanal horse 2. King Sombra might have turned himself/ his horn into the necklace Trixie is wearing and he is using her to try to get his revenge on Twilight and her Friends. yzing a cartoon about magic talking lkdr Trixie might be evil in season 3 because Sombra might be controlling her

Perhaps this means that Sombra's lack of characterization in the premier is the result of the writers stretching it out all the way through the season – turning him into part of a running plot-line a-la the Gala from season one. That would be pretty awesome.
