Brr Brr Patapim refers to an AI-generated Italian Brainrot character that's a hybrid between a tree forest and a monkey with large feet. The meme became popular on TikTok and YouTube in late March 2025. Brr Brr Patapim was often powerscaled against Tung Tung Tung Sahur which was a similar brainrot character but from Indonesian meme creators. Other Italian Brainrot characters like Bombardiro Crocodilo and Tralalero Tralala predate Brr Brr Patapim.

Origin

On February 17th, 2025, TikToker^[1] @ofuscabreno posted a video using AI-generated content, showing an AI image of a monkey-tree forest hybrid with large feet. The AI voiceover initially says, "Brr brrr patapim, il mio cappello è pieno di Slim!" The video received over 172,500 likes in a month (shown below).

On February 19th, 2025, TikToker^[2] @reisonbs riffed on the original video, showing a new AI image of Brr Brr Patapim, using the original sound. The video received over 3,200 likes in a month (shown below).

On March 9th, TikToker^[3] @ofuscabreno followed up on their original video, showing a different AI-generated Brr Brr Patapim image, also using flame explosion CapCut effects like the ones used in the Eye of Rah meme. Over 17 days, the video received roughly 52,400 likes (shown below).

The videos from TikTok were reposted to YouTube^[4] starting in mid-March 2025.

On March 10th, TikToker^[5] @noname921234 posted a Brr Brr Patapim video that animated it with the AI Video generator MiniMAX by HailuoAI. Over 16 days, the TikTok received over 70,000 likes (shown below).

On March 24th, 2025, TikToker^[6] @fishy.ai powerscaled Brr Brr Patapim against Tung Tung Tung Sahur, gaining over 494,400 likes in two days (shown below).

Brr Brr Patapim content continued to surface on YouTube in late March 2025, such as another MiniMAX video shared by YouTuber^[7] joobsno on March 16th, which showed the character flying. It received over 5,700 views in 10 days (shown below).
