Glad it didn't do that.
Actually Season 3's opener ended in a way that I hoped Mass effect did. King Somber never showed off his true power so we're left to only "What ifs…" or whatever.
They didn't explain anything about Somber you just knew he was an oppressive force of nature and Twilight and the gang must stop him.
