In 1984, Disney's The Black Cauldron was finished, the film featured for the first time in a Disney movie, graphic depictions of the main hero, Taran, slaying his foes during his escape from the castle, The Horned King slaying his own soldiers in order to activate the titular Cauldron, and the most famous scene as well the image above, in the film's climax, when the dreadful "Cauldron Born" appears, they brutally kill more of the Henchmen, one of them falls into the Cauldron's mist, another known deleted scene depicts the hero, Taran, murdering the film's villian by throwing him to the Cauldron. Jefferey Katzenberg, the new chairman saw the film and was horrified with what he saw, the film was re-edited and reanimated to match the current version, which was a flop and is now a forgotten movie, it's original version sits in the Disney vault, and an biw VCR PAL tape that it's owned by the film's producer, Joe Hale.
