The Teen Titans are popular, iconic characters and there's been a lot of buzz about how the new series Teen Titans Gol wilhandle them. Producers/writers Michael Jelenic and Aaron Horvath were joined by voice talent Greg Cipes and Khary Payton at WonderCon o share the debut episode and to discuss the dfferent, funnier direction Ir's no secret fans are skeptical about the strictly comedic take on the super team but the overall reaction to the episode seemed positive. Laughter drowned out the punchlines at some points. The premiere episode (spit into two eleven minute stories as they all wi be) showed just how sily things are going get. Is reminiscent of the Star Wars: Detours cips The first story was about the legend of a perect sandwich and featured Raven watching and oving a show caled Pretty, Pretty Pegasus. The second story was about pokingtun at Robin for not having superpowers (which seems to be a consistent joke actualy) and then getting them and leaming they are a curse. Each one was full of easter eggs for comic book fans and plenty of gags and food TANS
