The Ghost of The Goon, also known as Goonmobile, refers to a series of jokes and memes about the black Dodge Challenger car that was driven by the man from the viral Drive-Thru Goonicide incident in which a man exposed himself at a coffee shop drive-thru in Arizona and later took his own life. Memes about the car started in late January 2025 on TikTok as users from all over the world posted videos of similar vehicles in different countries, calling it the "Goonmobile" or "Goon Mobile." In mid-March 2025, a viral TikTok sound of a teen shouting, "The ghost of the goon," accompanied by a bell ring sparked more memetic content related to black Dodge Challengers.

Origin

On January 22nd, 2025, TikTok[1] user @lrdc784 posted the earliest meme calling the black Dodge Challenger in the Drive-Thru Goonicide incident the "Goonmobile." The video (seen below) features a reenact of the viral video using Grand Theft Auto graphics. The post amassed over 1.2 million likes in three months.

On February 1st, 2025, TikTok[2] user @blockcrusher49 uploaded a video of a black Dodge Challenger found at night, calling the car "the ghost of the goon." The post (seen below) received more than 2.5 million plays and 517,000 likes in a month.

Spread

On March 15th, 2025, TikTok[3] user @praisegodmaneee posted a video spotting a black Challenger, calling it, "the ghost of the goon." Each time the teen shouts the car's name a bell sound rings in the background. The video (seen below) amassed more than 298,000 plays and 30,000 likes in a week, inspiring other users on the platform to post videos spotting the same car used in the Drive-Thru Goonicide in the streets.

On March 17th, 2025, TikTok[4] user @gtrxturbo uploaded a video using the soundbite after spotting the ghost of the goon car (seen below), which garnered over 3 million plays and 578,000 likes in four days.
