I found that this scene wasn’t a very creative representation of Rarity’s talent.
“When Rarity’s talent is enhanced she’d make a lot of dresses!” Please, the scene would’ve been much better if it had shown Rarity locating and levitating hundreds of gems out of the ground. Maybe one giant gem? This just felt like an outlet to shove as many references into as little time as possible.

Actually this was one of the better shout-outs the episode did, as it was several costumes that made for a fun guessing game for the viewer to figure out on their own. See it can be done well, just a bit more subtle like this one.
