The REAL meaning of "I TOOK AN ARROW TO THE KNEE" is actually Nordic slang for getting Married When a Skyrim guard says it, he actually means I USED TO BE AN ADVENTURER LIKE YOU, BUT THEN GOT MARRIED It then starts to make sense because they will have a family to take care of, therefore ending their adventuring days People have interpreting it wrong all this time All those memes, pictures and even tattoo's... All for naught The Glder Scrolls V SKYRIM Wasn't that funny anyway...
