It's been a while, but you're the only person who I can really talk to, so I want you to listen, if you wouldn't mind. I was out painting today. On that hill of ours, you know the one. Sky was beautiful, and the clouds haven't been this perfect in years. Like, you know how there's a difference between cotton candy and pillow fluff? The pillow fluff is softer and tends to look nicer, but cotton candy is pink and tastes good, so people always go with that instead. The clouds were like pink pillow fluff something everyone could like, I think. So l painted them So that's where I am now. I have this painting that makes me happy. It's not me trying to talk to someone, but something I used to talk to myself, I guess is the way you'd put it. Well, not you, I wouldn't know exactly how you'd put it, I was just using a general term. Anyway, I think tomorrow I'm going to try and have copies of this painting made, and I'll just hand them out at the park or something after that gets done. It makes me really happy, you know, I've said that a few times I think. I haven't hugged anyone in a while, and I think this is the best way I can do that. That's why... l wanted to know if you wouldn't mind if I brought you a copy of it over to you sometime this week? You always said you liked it when I painted, so I didn't think you would mind that much. I just want to be able to hug you again, Hisao. Does that sound selfish? If you think so, I can always bring flowers like I usually do. Well, anyway, thanks for listening Hsao. It's nice to have you to talk to, though I wish you would talk back sometimes. Anyway, I'lI see you later this week, I have to get going now.
