That last tweets makes so much sense then EQG will have zero impact for s4.
After reading this, I never thought that maybe certain people don't even know what canon means. That can be confusing.

Idk about you guys, but generally to me I'm totally fine with fanfics that ignore or outright go against canon events. Generally I'd want them to say what they're doing first, so it's not confusing to the readers when things don't line up quite the way you'd expect otherwise.

Alternate Universe fics are some of my favorite from the fandom. It's fun to put pre-established characters in new or (in regards to the canon story) impossible situations, to explore how things would have worked out differently. Much more interesting than the cookie-cutter shipfics I see plastered all over the place.
