For context, this is the scene where, after unknowingly being impregnated with an alien (it's a long story), the protagonist has to perform an abdominal surgery upon herself to get it out of her body before it can burst through her stomach. It's possibly the most claustrophobic moment ever captured on film.

To whoever tagged this as "borderline gore", I have to disagree. The only thing that comes close to actual gore is the umbilical cord.

And believe me when I say that I could have represented this scene with a considerably more graphic image. This one just got the point across effectively.
