That's a good point. Women that make the accusation that society is oppressing them do not take into consideration how they contribute to social norms. Heck, as Thunderf00t on youtube pointed out, even passionate feminist Anita Sarkeesian still wore makeup and earrings in her appearances online.

If anything, I'd say that women can oppress other women just as much as men, if not more so, because they're that much closer to the trends they can enforce. Of course, that's just an educated guess at best, so take it as you will.
