HISTORY IS REPEATING ITSELF: In 2003, Ruby and Sapphire came out as brand new games on a brand new engine and device RUBY APPHIRE VERSION VERSION Around the same time of these games' release,a new system was released as well, the Gameboy Advance SP The very next year (2004), the 1st gen games got a remake on that same new device using that very same engine, but with improvements. These were FireRed and LeafGreen NERSION FIREREDN Then, in 2005, Emerald was released, making the best use of the engine of all of these, and was the third installment to the Hoenn games. EMERALD ERSION My theory: The same thing is happening RIGHT NOW as it did a decade ago Last year (2013), X/Y were realeased- These can be said to represent Ruby and Sapphire's releases in 2003, as both were new regions and games for their respective times and systems During the same time of X/Y's release, a new version of the system they were for was released, the 2DS. The 2DS can be said to parallel the GBASP Now, the release of remakes for Ruby and Sapphire have been announced. These can parallel the release of Firered and Leafgreen in 2004 Taking all of these things into account, my conclusion is that next year, 2015, we will get a third installment of the Kalos region, just as we did for Hoenn 10 years ago The best bet is a Pokemon Z version, as this would follow the trend better than X2/Y2 would However, that part is up for debate. We are 100% certain that Zygarde completes the legendary trio. Plus, Diancie is an event pokemon and Zygarde is catchable in game. So, no, Diancie would not be on the cover.

the 2DS is more of a original GBA since it's less compact, no backlight and an allover downgrade
-the 2DS also isn't available in japan since it's made for US/euro soccer mums who are afraid of 3D destroying their children's brains
-also Z isn't a chromosome,
-the same also could've applied to DPP and HG/SS but it didn't, platinum was released prior to HG/SS, if it would've applied to those too that theory would be a bit more believable.

besides, instead of a Z edtition, i'd wish gamefreak would make some good DLC for XY, since there's the possibility to do so on the 3DS and other games already got some quality DLC
