Obviously not paying attention.
His sword is the BLUEMOON sword. It's a fake one, not as long as the original and has no special attack.
The original one is called MOONLIGHT sword. Can be forged by Ornifex on NG+ with "Old Pale Dragon's soul", wihich can be obtained by slaying Duke's Dear Freia(NG+ only).
P.S. The original Moonlight sword(from the DS1) looks way better IMO.
