Zahide is a Turkish-German TikToker from Berlin who posts dance and lip-sync videos on TikTok. As of April 2025, she has gathered over 8 million followers and has begun her foray into making music.

Her earliest accessible TikTok^[1] was posted on February 26th, 2023, gathering over 900,000 plays and 77,000 likes in three years. Her most viral TikTok^[2] was posted on October 22nd, 2024, gathering over 135 million views and 10 million likes in seven months.

The "Zahide won this trend" comment trend appears to have started in the comment sections of another young German TikToker, Chiara, or @chiaraspureluv.

Fans began to speculate about a rift forming between the two TikTokers in April 2025, prompting many users to pit the two creators against each other by commenting "Zahide won this trend" or "Chiara won this trend" on each other's videos.

Also on April 19th, 2025, TikToker^[4] @backwithali posted a video joking about "Zahide won this trend" comments, gathering over 500,000 plays and 60,000 likes in a day.

Later that day, TikToker^[5] @chaixy..edits shared a video captioned, "life when people stop commenting Zahide won this trend." The video gathered over 800,000 plays and 100,000 likes in a day.

Also on April 19th, TikToker @x_vive_ posted a video showing themselves blocking the words "zahide" from their TikTok comments, gathering over 800,000 plays and 40,000 likes in a day.
