"I think some people are misinterpreting this excellent piece by BSB, so I'll come out and say that I'm the commissioner. The intention here was not to mock the recent sexing up of Samus' design, but to mock those who are riled up about it. That bimbo at the end of the sequence seems to be what people are seeing when they see the current design, which is what the second stage is obviously based on.

In fact, the current ZSS design has something special about it that no other interpretation of Samus outside the Power Suit has had, a sense of fun. Something I feel is entirely appropriate for an environment like Smash Bros.
