I always liked this scene a lot. It's how you give a character a deserving punishment with over-the-top physical violence the right way. Don't show the violence, just show it off in an unlikely way so that the viewer doesn't 'feel' the pain and have the other character(s) react to it for added effect, that's how you do it, Modern SpongeBob-writers.
