SPIKE AND DESIST Spike gets fed up with all the annoying and weird things going on in Ponyville, feeling they've been nothing but low quality mash ups, and takes a day to just waste time and evaluate his life. Most of the episode just revolves around him hanging out with the background ponies, getting to know them better and learning a shocking secret about Octavia that he doesn't dare ever speak of again. He ultimately decides there must be a princess out there with a less crazy life and leaves a replacement in his stead so he can slip out unnoticed. Things have changed so much that the ponies haven't seen through the replacement's stellar disguise yet. TO 5
