I don't understand how this de-confirms anything. If anything this information gives the "leak/rumor" even more credibility.

I don't understand your logic. You assume that he must have seen a great detail of the stages, when it's just as likely that he only saw bits and pieces, or just never saw all the names. Don't get me wrong, I'm taking this rumor with a grain of salt, but I don't see how this debunks it.
