A woman says she's been harassed (doesn't matter if real or fake), because the anti-gg response is "sorry but fuck off".

This isn't the first time it's happened (IE: NotYourShield).

No, actually, this "grew" out of a domestic abuse victim speaking out against his abuser. It then turned into Gamergate when games journalism tried to threaten a victim back into silence, and when that didn't work, tried to slander anyone who could possibly defend him.

That, friend, was the proverbial straw that broke the camels back. That doesn't mean that it was the "core", it means it's the most superficial level of this debate.

And, regarding Camera Lady's messages you posted, I ask, "Does it make her claims any less legitimate?" She was almost definitely getting harassed WAY before this, due to her discoveries and videos about Phil Fish's corruption. And when she is in the middle of all this harassment squarely directed at her, it seems likely she would be a bit angry.
