I have been compiling information related to an earlier tip I sent tonight about a death threat made on Twitter to Anita Sarkeesian at GeekGirlCon which is taking place this weekend in Seattle and continues tomorrow. The account in question, @Anita0f Jesus, spams the same material as these other accounts in a similar and nearly identical fashion. I believe they are run by the same individual @AnitaSLover @MCelebrinando @FCCelebrinando They make frequent links to a blogspot. account http://sitecelebrinando.blogspot.com.br The articles linked are credited to "Mateus. Prado Sousa." His personal fasebook. page also includes material on Anita Sackeesian, with comments from him saying he "makes money by being an asshol https://www.facebook.com/MateusPradoSousa It references yet another Twitter account, @CelebrinandoRJ, which has already been suspended. I believe he is making new accounts like the ones above and spamming his material out of anger, finally culminating in death and r--- threats, believing this will draw attention to him and, somehow, profit Here is another post on the website 4chan.org tonight that appears to have been made by him or the perpetrator in question making death threats http://boards.4chan.org/v/thread/267348784 I find death threats and harassment like this enormous ly disruptive to the public conversation that thousands of others like me are trying to have regarding the issue of female safety in the tech industry. I want there to be real world consequences for such behavior, a message sent, and justice served Please contact me if you need further assistance.
