Penny was fittle when she was hit by a car, and went into a coma. During those years, her father visited her in the hospital, where he learned her semblance allowed her to control (o ofjects with fer mind, and evern transfer her consciousness. He started to develop a robotic body for her to control to let her have the closest to a normal life she could have. Due to the strain of transferring her mind she cannot, and will not remember her life when she was human until she transfers her mind back to Ahe original body.
