This is an old anime(1984) for kids but according to wikipédia, this is show had a "mediocre ratings in Japan".

Spoiler: After slapping the girls in public, the director of the school says to the trainer: it's bad to hurt children.
But he refuses to change his method because he educates these pupils like that.
After that, the main protagonist, You Hazuki leaves to see how the other clubs train their students. In the first one, they strike the players when they are on the ground and in the second they use a computer to torture girls.
At the end You return to see his trainer and apologizes and asks him to punish her……….. Oh! I forgot to say, the subject of this anime It's about volleyball.
