Um… how? It's not as though the show having older fans effects the child audience in any way. Hell, considering they take the entire fanbase into account when making the show… sometimes… (looking at you Princess Twilight and EqG.) it's only helped improve it.

At best you've got the people who buy up the merchandise left and right, including the stuff meant for actual children… but that's what restocking is for.
