After learning this is essentially Paper Mario gameplay with Steven Universe characters, I immediately went "okay now THIS is the kind of stuff I want from a licensed game. Take what already worked elsewhere and replicate it with the characters from the license in question."

Part of me does wish it was on more platforms than mobile though. I mean sure I can play it on my tablet, but there's always that small part of me that wants to use buttons on my controller or handheld (this would be great on the eShop).

The way the action points work sounds like old X-Com actually with the "time units."
