A couple of inspirations here; Robert Doisneau’s wonderful photograph “The Kiss” which I’ve been wanting to do some sort of response to for years, and the wonderful song “Isn’t This a Lovely Day” written by Irving Berlin (if you haven’t heard it one of the best covers is a duet by Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong). In case you’re wondering, I’m a huge pluviophile…or rain lover though I think I’ll not be depicting rain again for a few weeks, I need to untie my frontal lobe after this one. However, I’m a huge Asami Sato fanboy so I have a few ideas more for our snazzy adventuress. Any comments welcome! Prints will be available soon!!
