But about the Splatoon voice chat thing… that wasn't an oversight, it was a conscious design decision.

personally i dont think it was retarded at all.
a game like splatoon doenst really need voice chat all the itmes i had hoped it had voice chat was to tell my teamates that they suck and should kill themselves (i get very competitive), so i think thats what the whole voice chat would sound like, people complaining, insulting,calling shots, etc
so it was well thought not adding it, the only thing i wanted is to group up with friends (like parties n shit) and not just join a friend's game and hope i get on his/her team but itll be added in august i hope
