Exhibit A on why I refuse to acknowledge mobile gaming as anything more than a man kidnapping fun and holding it for ransom.

One problem with that is that it is a popular strategy right now in the games industry, and a lot of games start out paid, and then switch over to 'free to play' models later.

It is liking a nice medical drama, but halfway through the episode it turns into Jersey shore, and all future episodes are like that. And a lot of the other channels' medical dramas turned into jersey shore as well. Also, a lot of channels just had jersey shore from the get go anyway.

And lets not even get start on games that started off with both a full purchase price and a fremium style model for in game purchases. A technique that Jim Sterling calls 'fee to pay'. I mean… free to play have the whole 'test your patience until you fork over money' as the price of admission…. fee to play also has the gall of charging you the traditional $60, and still trying to force you to pay more.
