Twitter User @Dead1234Kevin posted the edited clip of the Guy tumbling and thus hitting the Krispy Kreme Neon Sign. @basedreditcring replied to their tweet with the following comment:

AWESOME
HE DIDN'T DESTROY THE KRISPY KREME LOGO

Then @MaxFlore29 replied with this video, which includes the old-school meme "demotivator" captioned with the comment above, with MGMT's "Me and Michael" playing over the meme at the end of the clip.

Later that night reddit user u/Billy_Billboard posted the edit on the subreddit r/okbuddyretard. By the next day it had gotten almost 13 000 upvotes and a total of 113 comments.

Okay you know what? I posted this meme in CallMeCarson's Discord Server in the #memes channel several times after making it. Every minute somebody is posting there something, meaning somebody is watching and downloading the memes from there. I figured it's a good place to spread the clip. It's possible that u/Billy_Billboard got it either from the Server or My Twitter Post. Maybe somebody sent it to them, but it's whatever.

I posted the video in Twitter User's @WeirdestMp4 Discord Sever in the Submissions Channel, they then tweeted it on June 8th 2020.
