What the capitol hill attack has solidified in my mind, is that the power holders and enforcement apparatus are so bought in with anti-socialist McCarthyism that they're not even paying attention to the neo-fascists population of the country, and in many cases, are in bed with such groups.
This leads to the horrifying conclusion that if there is a social upheaval in America, it'll be the pro-imperial, neo-segregationists population who owns the most guns.
